Mini Pronunciation Guide

  • ื/ืข ('/a) โ€” light pause/guttural; often silent.
  • ื—/ื› (kh) โ€” voiceless kh, like in "loch", deeper.
  • ืจ (r) โ€” back of tongue r, softer than English.
  • Stress usually on last syllable: toโ€‘Dร, meโ€‘uโ€‘Lร‰.

Common Beginner Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

  • Too long phrases. Cut to 4-6 words.
  • Russian "r". Soften: r further back in throat.
  • No stress. Put on last syllable.
  • Hesitation to speak. 50 whisper repeats โ†’ 10 aloud.
